Pageant Photo

I had one of Emma's pictures retouched for us to use when we did pageants. I think it turned out wonderful. Ms. Amy at www.freewebs.com/faithfotos really knows her stuff. Obviously the one in the back is one that I took here at home. The picture on the left is for "natural" photo contests and the one of the right is for "glitzy" contests. I can not wait to see how Emma does this weekend. It's her very first 'glitz' pageant. I'll post again and let you know how things went!!! :)

Daycare...

Well, I have started back to work... And Emma has started....... DAYCARE!!! I think it was harder on me than on her. She seems to really like it. And truth is ... I really like the daycare she goes to also. There are always 2 adults in the room with 4 infants. And then when the 5th kid shows up there is another adult. :) It's really nice to know that there are plenty of people there to take care of my angel. Here are a few more pictures that I've taken of her.

BumboSeat

Ok... for all you mom's out there. GET A BUMBO SEAT!!! It's wonderful. Emma has gotten to where she LOVES to sit up. She spends most of her day trying to sit up and see the world. So... I got her a bumbo seat. As you can see, SHE LOVES IT!!!

3 Months Old.

Well... in just a few days, we will hit the 3 month mark. I can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday I was telling the story of how she was born. I have to start back to work next week also. We had our first big scare. Emma got the flu. It actually isn't that bad, but it's no fun watching a baby cough until she gets choked. She is such a happy baby, I was able to take a few pictures of her... even with the flu.

Flower Girl

Here are just a few more pics we took one day after our bath. She was getting very uncooperative by the end. And if you look real close, I'm pretty sure that's squash up her nose. I obviously didn't do a good job washing....

2 Months Old!

Emma is now 2 months old. It doesn't seem like she should be that old yet. We went for our shots today and it wasn't near as bad as I was expecting. There were a total of three and she would stop crying before the lady could give the next one. She's such a tough little thing. We absolutely LOVE having her around. Her cousin Talin has introduced her to pageants. She's only done one so far... and didn't do that great. But we had a great time and it was to benefit the American Cancer Society so that's what really matters. Here are just a few of the pictures I took to celebrate her 2 months birthday!!! I actually made the tutu. It's just a shame you can't actually tell that's what it is!
